Leifeld CNC necking in & closing spinning machines have been especially designed for hot forming pressure vessels, such as high-pressure gas bottles, fire extinguishers, accumulators, military & aerospace type cylinders, CNG (compressed natural gas), SCBA (self contained breathing apparatus), paintball and many other types of cylinders.

Necks and gas-tight bases are formed out of a wide variety of materials. We offer technology and machinery solutions to our customers regardless if  the starting material is from a tube or blank. Wall thickness can be controlled during the spinning process.
